White or Silver fillings?
The pictures on the right illustrate the differences in the appearance of silver versus white fillings. This patient decided to change his silver fillings to white ones. They are obviously more natural looking and cosmetically appealing.
Both types of filling materials have been tested and used for long enough to know that both are excellent materials for restoring a tooth to health and function. Every patient has the choice as to whichever material they want in their mouths.
