This patient of ours was 82 years old. At this point in his life, he was ready to get the smile that he always wanted.

But how would it look. Would just the top be enough? The top and bottom? How about whitening?

All good questions. Each patient has different ideas, desires and expectations. The computer technology shown in these pictures is very helpful in allowing the doctor and the patient to determine the correct pathway to follow.

In this digital makeover, we simply closed the space of the upper front two teeth by widening them. If you look carefully, none of the other teeth have been touched.

What did we (the patient and I think)? We thought that this change looked great, but what if we went further and closed the other spaces?

Mr. 82 year old did in fact have all his spaces closed and now smiles with a beautiful, age appropriate, natural smile.
